UCR

The UCR (Unified Carrier Registration) is a commerce tax. It is required for interstate commerce across state lines and is filed with your domicile state. It must be filed each year and is based on the number of vehicles. Anyone with a MC number (Carriers/brokers) must have an UCR to be in compliance with the FMCSA.
